Sturdy and has a solid fell to it. Seems well constructed and good to look at. On picking it up it is noticeably not light weight, and I wouldn't want to carry it for a couple of mile over rough ground. A first-class piece of equipment that I have been promising myself for years. You get what you pay for.
Great accessory, well made and gets all my wet gear in and drain holes complete the item. Oh and great price too.
As a bivvy mat, it is not very good at all, the outer material doesn't sit flat, and even after some time it still doesn't go flat, causing it to be a trip hazard, so if you want to use it in conjunction with your bivvy ground sheet, I would look elsewhere.
After doing a lot of research, searching the internet for a couple of weeks for a feeder chair I decided to go for the S23, two reasons it looked nice all four legs are adjustable, also the fact you can get a barrow conversion kit.
First impression of chair on arrival were very favourable looked very comfortable well padded just what I was looking for.
First trip out and my favourable impressions were fading fast.
1 when using the feeder and feeder arm attached to the chair it bounced all over the place with slightest movement.
2 the chair was slipping down the legs tried tightening them up no joy
I thought to myself just teething problems sure next trip will be ok when I was home I decided to find out why legs slipped on any sort of movement, so marked legs around the chair and sure enough moments after sitting and moving they started to slip, in the end I had to tighten it up as hard as I could possibly do, I am 69 years old so that took so much doing my hands hurt but it did solve the problem. As for the barrow conversion kit can’t find anyone who sell it but that’s another story

Having recently received these reels, all I can say is my partner fell in love with them before I've had chance to use them. They look the buisness on her 9ft Dwarf rods and so swapped them for her Shimano st 10,000s which are mint condition. Hope they perform as good as they look.
