Compact when packed away so doesn't take up a lot of space in the car. Easy to erect and pack away. There are no rod straps but these can be replicated with a neoprene velcro rod strap looped under the left and right roof tension bars. There is enough room despite the compact footprint, which makes it perfect for tight swims. There's plenty of mesh pockets inside for receivers, keys, phone etc. Fox camo looks great.
The cons are it's quite low so a bit of a pain to get in and out of of you aren't supple. But there's still enough head room to sit upright on a chair or bed in the middle without touching the roof. There's no ground sheet but there's YouTube vids that show how to make one with a cheap tarp. It does suffer a lot from condensation. Carper Tackle sell an overwrap for their own pop up bivvy that fits this one and pretty much solves the issue making this a viable shelter even for winter. This has now replaced my old Trakker bivvy for my overnight sessions. I really like it.
