The 8.5m Edge Monster Margin Pole is ideal for fishing the margins or to an island, using heavy elastics and strong line poised to haul in big margin carp.
Carp caught close in tend to scream off and fight hard and as such you need a pole capable of withstanding such a fight. The Edge Monster from Preston has been designed to extract hard fighting carp from the margins and is super strong yet lightweight, you can comfortably support the pole with one hand whilst reaching for your landing net or baiting your swim.
With its mini extension, the 8.5m Edge Monster has a super strong 20+ elastic rating, impressive for a pole weighing just 474g.
Its lightweight carbon fibre composite construction is ideal when you’re trying to ease your rig up the marginal shelf or tip the offerings in your toss pot over the top of your float.
Retrieving pole sections safely and securely whilst playing a fish is made easy thanks to Preston’s easy ship coating, the margin pole is also inscribed with section alignment arrows making the poles assembly straight forward, enabling you to get your rig back out in the water much quicker.
The Edge Monster’s closed length is 172cm and is supplied in its own pole holdall and PVC tube and has the added bonus of coming with a spare Top 2 top kit. Both top kits are fitted with Preston’s revolutionary Roller Pulla system and come fitted with a PTFE bush.
